Origin PC's EON17-X3D is First 3D Laptop with Dual Graphics Cards
Three-dimensional laptop displays have been done before, and so have dual graphics cards configured in SLI. According to the boutique system builders at Origin PC, they've just never been done at the same time in a mobile form factor. That is, until now. Origin PC's EON17-X3D is supposedly the world's first 3D laptop to come with two videocards crammed inside for an insane amount of pixel-pushing power.
It's pretty much the same system as Origin PC's recently announced EON17-X, but with 3D capabilities. As a refresher, this desktop replacement is built around Intel's X79 chipset with support for second generation hexacore processors. It supports up to 32GB of 1333MHz Corsair quad-channel or up to 16GB of 1866MHz Corsair Vengeance quad-channel memory, up to three hard drives with RAID support, it has a backlit keyboard, and several other high-end amenities.
Specific to the EON17-X3D is a built-in 3D emitter and 1080p 3D display. The system comes with a pair of Nvidia 3D Vision 2 wireless glasses with LightBoost technology.
The fully customizable EON17-X3D is available now starting at $3,032.

Wow, 32 gigs in a laptop... you know, given moores law, and my extremely short lifespan prediction, I thought I'd never live to see the day when we needed 128 bit processors and the terrabytes of ram they would afford us, but at this rate, I just might...

If MaximumPC buys me this I will spam my Facebook with how awesome you guys are for a year. If you refuse to buy me one? I'll use my status update to dump on you guys until my attention span runs out (usually once or twice)
Seriously though a ramdrive on that would be craaazy

Shoot, I'd spam every social network I was on if I ever got an intel-powered, dual graphics card setup from MPC. and I'd wear MPC T-shirts for a year

Both compelling arguments. MPC would be crazy (or fiscally responsible) not to take you gentlemen up on your offers.
On a related note, I actually wrote a snail-mail letter to a company when I was a teenager asking them to hook me up with a high-end system and pitched what a good investment it would be, since they'd have a customer for life. I can't remember if it was PC Entertainment magazine (later purchased by Future and folded in PC Gamer) or LucasFilm/LucasArts, but whichever one it was, I recall receiving a polite rejection and assurance that I would one day own a high-end rig.

I'd even consider trading my efforts for a Nvidia GPU. How about this. I send MaximumPC my 6870 (in excellent condition) and you guys send me a 560ti autographed by Brad Chacos with a doodle of a bearded man. I think it would be a great deal. You guys grab some big time PR points and I get the gpu I should have bought in the first place! I've seen your lab. There has to be one in there somewhere!
