The Top 10 Smartphones Set to Ship in 2012
Humans are a fickle species: Easily distracted by anything shiny and new, the majority of us are always on the lookout for the next big thing, especially where technology is concerned. Fortunately, as we saw at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, there's a whole universe of new-fangled gadgety goodness being cooked up by the high-tech powers that be--especially in the area of smartphones.
There's a lot of anticipation surrounding a number of the handsets due for release this year, and with good reason: As more and more companies vie for a cut of the coin consumers are dumping into the smartphone market, hardware manufacturers are being forced to up their game, bringing innovative products to market in the hope of squashing their competition like a bug. We've assembled 10 of the most anticipated handsets due to drop in 2012, and as you'll see, they're all lust-worthy.

acutally thinking more about it. I would like the Moto Droid with a KB. There were photos leaks a while back about it. I'm sick of touch screen typing as I have American fat fingers.
I like BB because of the QWERTY KB, but their phones are suxors atm. Unless the QXN OS is really what they think it will be.

I hope Nokia comes out with a great Windows phone in 2012. I'm tired of waiting, and waiting, and waiting for my less than a year old samsung droid charge to be upgraded to Ice Cream. I used to be a staunch supporter of android, loved the Motorola droid 1, but the lack of support from the OEMs after the sale makes me want to switch to something more uniform.
samsung SUCKS because they take so long to upgrade their phones. They don't care about their customers, so I no longer care for them.

Name one cell phone that's been upgraded. The only upgraded phone is the Nexus S. If you don't have realistic expectations they will never be filled.

Thank you very much! That's my whole point, android phones seldom gets updated to the newest releases. A phone get's it, but then another doesn't, then another get's it, but another doesn't. Is it really too unrealistic to think that a $299 phone less than a year old, should at least be on the list to get upgraded to the latest? If it is, then I'm doing exactly what needs to be done, not settling but taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully samsung and Google will get the message. Can you say RIM?

As was mentioned previously that's the HTC TITAN II with the 16MP camera, 4.7 Super+ LCD screen and its going to be on the super-fast LTE AT&T network. It also has what looks to be a unique curved glass at the bottom..... I can't wait!

Yup, NH3MAN
The Titan II is the only phone I can see that interests me as much as the Lumia 900.

the only one on the list to spark my curiosity is the HTC Edge - Endeavor.
Other then that, I will be on the sidelines for a while.

New BlackBerry looks awfully intriguing but unfortunately for RIM i can't tolerate their crappy OS any longer and will have moved to an Android phone long before its release.

Love the Nokia Lumia 900, the bigger screen and the front facing camera. Hopefully when Nokia releases it officially MS will have finished the Windows Phone 7.5 version of Skype.
If I actually cared about using it as a telephone and not just a portable computer I guess I would prefer the smaller and lighter Lumia 800 with that great looking slightly curved glass.By the way, I don't think that's the HTC Titan you're showing. I believe you mean the newer Titan 2 with the 16MP camera.

I'll be sitting this year out, but I'm excited that other companies are getting into the game. I'm excited for Nokia's and HTC's offerings. And I'm hoping (for the people I know who work there) that RIM's finally gotten the hint.
